Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of Stock shall mean acceptance of all Terms and Conditions
National Salon Supplies only sells to professionals in the industry. Proof of Qualification / Business ownership may be required.
Accounts are only available to customers who have had a history of trade with National Salon Supplies and who purchase in excess of $600.00 per month.
Accounts can only be considered after the customer has completed the “Application to establish a fourteen day credit account” and has completed and signed the “Personal Guarantee and Indemnity” form. These forms must be sent to the Accounts department of National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd who will examine the request and, at their sole discretion, may establish an account with a specified credit limit for customer use. If granted, the entire invoice payment is due within
14 days of the Invoice Date.
For non-account holders, all orders are COD.
Payments may be made by Cash, Cheque, Money Order, Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard), EFTPOS or Direct Bank Deposit.

Cheques should be made payable to National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd.
A fee of $25 applies to each and every cheque dishonour (plus GST).
The purchaser shall be liable for all charges and costs incurred relating to recovery of money due to dishonoured cheques or other failure to pay for accepted goods.
All opening orders are Cash on Delivery (C.O.D), regardless of a credit account having been granted. There is no minimum order amount.
All furniture and equipment orders are subject to a 25% non-refundable deposit.
Some brands are subject to territory restrictions.
All prices include GST.
Order discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of receiving stock.
The customer must within 7 (seven) days notify National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd of any returns required or the stock will be deemed to have been accepted in full by the customer. This clause does affect any rights under the Trade Practices Act 1975.
Credit for returned goods will be made only after the goods have been returned, inspected and approved as suitable for return.
Absolutely no returns on sable brushes.
Time is of the essence in respect of the payment of amounts due. If a customer fails to pay for goods supplied when the amount owing falls due, National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd may:
- Suspend Deliveries
- Terminate contracts in relation to undelivered goods
- Terminate all credit facilities
- Institute legal action for recovery of outstanding amounts.
All orders will be dispatched within 3 working days. If orders are dispatched after 3 working days it will not constitute a breach of terms and conditions on behalf of National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd.
All goods are dispatched at the customer’s risk.
All deliveries are subject to packaging and freight charges. A freight free delivery is available and is subject to terms and conditions as published by National Salon Supplies from time to time.
All freight charges incurred with the order are payable by the customer including freight for returned goods.
Dangerous / hazardous goods cannot be sent via Australia Post.

Loyalty Club.
a) The Loyalty Club is a subscription based service. The subscription is required to be paid in full before any purchases can be made at Loyalty Club prices.
b) The subscription is valid for exactly 12 months and will expire if not renewed at the then published subscription rate.
c) Subscriptions, when current, allow members to purchase products, specially marked deals and services from the Loyalty Club at special Club advertised prices.
d) Subscriptions also enable a member to obtain special deals or prices from sponsors of the club. If a member has difficulty with receiving any advertised benefit from a sponsor, then that member must contact National Salon Supplies and provide full details so that an investigation can be carried out.
e) Subscriptions are not refundable.
f) Subscriptions are not transferable and will be cancelled if the subscription is abused or misused by the member.
g) Volume limits apply to all products sold. The Loyalty Club is not for wholesale customers. National Salon Supplies will inspect all orders and, using its own discretion, will reject any orders or repeat orders that appear to contain wholesale quantities.
Title Of Goods
a) Title of the goods supplied by National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd to the customer will not pass to the customer until such time as all goods supplied by National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd to the customer have been paid for in full.
b) Upon delivery of the goods to the customer, notwithstanding that the title to the goods may not have passed to the customer, the goods shall be held at the Customer’s risk and expense in respect of any loss or damage, theft or deterioration from any cause whatsoever and the customer shall be solely responsible in respect of amount owing, charge or expense incurred in relation to the said goods.
c) On the sale by the customer to a sub-purchaser of any goods supplied by National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd, whether incorporated into another product or not, the proceeds of such sale shall be said to be held on trust for National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd, until such time as all goods supplied to the customer have been paid in full.
If a customer does not use an account or credit account for a continuous period of 24 months, National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd reserves the right to automatically cancel the customer’s account.
All orders, enquiries and communications are to be made directly to National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd; and any order, representation or communication not made to National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd shall have no binding effect, legal or otherwise, on National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd.
The customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws and the courts of the State of South Australia.
National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd may vary these terms and conditions at any time by notice in writing.
Any provision in these Terms and Conditions, which is invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, must be read down for the purposes of that jurisdiction, if possible, to be valid and enforceable. If that provision cannot be read down then it is to be, if possible, severed to the extent that it does not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining Terms and Conditions.
A power or right is not waived solely because the party entitled to exercise that power or right does not do so. A power or right can only be waived in writing, signed by the party to be bound by the waiver.
If the customer has applied for a credit account with National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd the customer authorizes National Salon Supplies Pty Ltd:
- To make enquiries with respect to the customer’s credit worthiness;
- To give certain personal information about the customer to a credit reporting agency;
- To exchange information with other credit providers named in a consumer report issued by a credit-reporting agency;
- And to exchange information with credit providers with respect to previous defaults of the customer.
The singular includes the plural and vice versa.
Headings are for convenience only and shall not affect interpretation
